Don’t we all love children ? We would always say more the merrier. But for the parents looking after children can be very tiring. If you have two boys or twin boys at home, then you will have to be on your toes all the time. You home is sure to become a battle ground for them to fight.

All your time during the day gets spent watching over them, teaching them some good habits and more importantly getting them to eat. Don’t children have a mind of their own ? While some children are very quiet and introvert by nature, many children tend to be otherwise. There are those naughty, boisterous and hyper kids too.

When it comes to getting them to follow discipline and teaching them good habits, can be very difficult and one of the parents would have to be very strict in doing so. Six or Seven years of age is the right time to teach children to learn to maintain hygiene of their body and adapt healthy habits. Most often parents have difficulties in getting their sons to have bath. Most often their bedrooms resemble nothing but a pig sty.

They might not adhere to the required rules and discipline when asked to do so by you, but they do pick up your style and discipline by watching you subconsciously. So if the parents are disciplined in their approach and their habits are good, they will pass on the same culture to their children also.

Outdoor sports and games are a very important part of the development of boys as they begin to grow. If they are interested in sports and athletics, it makes sense to encourage them. Sports helps the child to develop both his physical as well as psychological and emotional makeup.

Most often parents are ignorant or simply miss out on insisting on taking safety precautions for their children while playing. It is quite common for children to fall and get hurt while they are playing football or swimming or playing. Your Dentist will tell you that the percentage of children with dental injuries is high as compared to the total number of patients.

Dental injuries can cause a lot of pain. Besides it becomes a defect with both functional as well as visual impact. Children then begin to develop complex for they do not wish to be the subject of poking and fun by friends.

Parents therefore should insist and make it a habit for children to wear safety harness, helmets etc wherever required before they run out to play. Incase your child does happen to have a mishap and comes home with a broken tooth; the best thing for you to do is not to panic. Make sure that you collect and keep safely any broken part of the tooth which may be fallen outside or still inside the mouth. Take it to the Dentist while you take your son and the Dentist in many cases is able to implant and restructure the broken tooth if done in time.

Today Dental technology is highly sophisticated and developed with several options available to the Dentist to work with various tools and alternatives to get the dental structure back in shape and make it as good as the original set.
